Improving the recruitment and retention of emergency services volunteers

DFES required an Emergency Volunteering Recruitment website to attract members of the public to volunteer for the emergency services.

What we did

We developed a website that included information about emergency services volunteering and an opportunity search to advertise volunteering roles. We also developed a simplified interface for administrators to enter opportunities.

How we did it

We partnered with Volunteering WA to deliver the website, working closely with DFES to deliver a bespoke solution to cater for their individual requirements. The website is built on the VIKTOR/VIRA platform and runs on our easy-to-use content management system - the EdukaCMS.

I just wanted to thank you for your combined efforts over the last few months on the Emergency Services Volunteering website.

The website looks great and is so much better than the ‘simple little website’ we first planned to launch by October last year. I smile to myself now. It was definitely worth the wait.
